Snowflakes in November

Snowflakes fall and I am in awe,

My memories return.

That night of cold December,

When we were in love.

Although it was brief,

While you held my hand,

I reminisce now,

In the wake of the end.

You placed a kiss,

On top of my lips,

And I knew that your lips,

Would be the ones I’d miss.

Snowflakes fall and here I am,

Thinking of you,

In the wake of the end.

There’s no looking back,

Nothing to fix.

Our memories live,

Through that one special kiss.
